My motor has been run in an engine dyno room for over 10 hours and pushed around 550 hp,, using denso iridium plugs.. everyone says there to short.. blah,, blahmm they post pics. so does that mean they are right.. no. I mean they wouldnt sell plugs that dont fit in your burning chamber properly right from hks if they are selling them all the time for our z's.. I do know that they are much more of a race plug and not a super smooth idleing plug.. so if you want your motor to purr get the standard ngk stuff or zfr stuff.. but for a high hp motor you can definitly use the hks or denso iridium plug custom sized of course. Dude if you think its the plugs dont just wonder,, swap in a cheap set of copper ngk plugs,, gap them the right and run them.. only takes about an hour to swap plugs.. then youll know right.. but the iridium plugs are pre-gapped and you dont want to change the gappings on them form what i heard.
